Ego Me Orno

Greetings everyone. I am new to this forum. I am almost 30 years young and have been buying vintage and antique jewellery for years now as I am an amateur antiques dealer. I only recently got into jewelery from antiquity. I am from Serbia (red flag, but at the same time we have a very rich earth in these antiques) and I hope to hear thoughts on some pieces I bought, whether they are genuine or fakes as I suspect. I appologize for the spam and too many photos, but I am compleyely lost, and the lack of reputable institutions in my country that are willing or have the knowledge to help does not exist. First ring is bronze, rest is silver. I will make a seperate post for 1 gold.

Can't log in anymore so unlikely you'll ever get the orgasmic pleasure of seeing my statement. All rings seen here made the other day, give or take. Suggest you avoid this merchant as you would any center of pestilence.

Hi

I agree, these are reproductions.

Really well-made fakes. Reminds me of "our" Serbian fake sellers.

Hello Chris and yes they do bring to mind Serbian and Bulgarian fakes from years past. Possibly from some of the same molds. Reproductions like these rings make great souvenirs at gift shops. Problem is, they're being marketed as genuine.

P.S. Someone please reactive my old login credentials so I don't have to answer FOUR CHALLENGE QUESTIONS every time I try and post something. Grazie mille
