My question..............
"Hello, from which century is the fibula from. You mention Roman style. It's an original or a replica in Roman style. thanks your kind answer XXX"
the seller answered as follows.....................
coinauction12
"Roman style is vintage vintage is 17-18 century"
Ups........Roman style means that the fibula is a replica copied either from an original or made by the manufacturer of the way as a fibula may have been in Roman times.
the seller defined in "?? style "in his own way. In "add whatever you want - style" is vintage and vintage is 17th-18th C. AD.:-)
VINTAGE HUGE SILVERED ROMAN STYLE FIBULA BROOCH WITH MERCURY BUST

Lately coinauction12 offers some of his fakes as "British-found" :-)
similar cross variations as posted before
The dating of the fakes is really incredible. The first bracelets should be 3000-3500 years old. wow
The silver ring with the stick figure is a few centuries younger. After all, even some 2500 years old.
pls. enjoy for the ring with the stick figure http://ancientartifakes.net/smf/index.php/topic,1087.0.html
Nice hairpin fakes...........
all fake sellers guaranteed money maker...................
A seller in the intoxication of the millennia !
3000-3500 years old Luristan Dager fakes........................
only to top from a 7000 years old Estruscan Terracotta fake
What a coincidence. Two identical fibulae, without pin, silver, offered at the same time on ebay UK. Certainly a hoard find of fakes :-)
Offered by coinauction12 as Medieval, from coin-ancient-world as a Roman.
Are only approx. 800-1000 years in between. It's nothing...fakes are timeless.
Another coincidence. Same bracelet. Offered at the same time on ebay UK. Same hort find as the above fibulae.
Offered from coinauction12 as Bronze age Greek and from dic.caesar as Luristan 900 B.C.
Perhaps should the seller make better arrangement with each other :-)
With or without needle, this is a fake fibula
Please draw your own conclusions
Also from Timeline Auctions in GB.

Same bracelet as saxbys-coins :-).
The dog-headed he offers twice in his listing. One at the beginning and one at the end hoping that the purchaser can not recognize them

incomprehensible ................and far from all fakes
We can expect the cross too :-)

Hi, friends! I was very surprised that this seller sells Russian Orthodox crosses under origin - found in the UK. It seems that in the UK until the 17th century there were a lot of Russians and they are very often lost the stitch ;D. Most of these crucifixes is no doubt as to the authenticity (Russian crosses made by casting), crosses 16-17 centuries in circulation very much. If there fakes (modern casting), it is silver. And then, not often. In Russia Wedge silver cross of the 16th century (with the cross on Calvary wicker) costs about $ 100. The same kind previously no more than $ 250. More rare variants - Vernicle, Nikita "Beagan" in silver.
Zeus... with gymnastic dumbbells? Second, apparently, was too lazy to take a leak.

These and similar crosses are casted in bronze, sometimes silver and offered from many Bulgarian sellers honestly as replicas. Pls. enjoy this section

If you look at the picture from a different angle, Zeus holds the thunderbolt . By the way you can add pics by using the additional options possibility
Thank you! But here, the thunderbolt like it is dumbbell (usually a thunderbolt sent forward). However another of the same but with a thunderbolt in a more familiar form. From egallerry (Ebay)(http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2NlgxNjAw/z/dXIAAMXQ2q9RaDwy/$T2eC16h,!yEE9s5jHPj0BR,DwydwHw~~60_57.JPG)

Hi,
it's the same. Coinauction12 is selling a replica as authentic.
PS. you might add the pics in another way. Pls. Open
add. options. choose the pics from your pc and finish with post.

Note: Although made merely as a reproduction or tourist souvenir, an item becomes "fake" when deceptively offered as the real thing.
This is the proof. Ebay allows its power sellers to remove the negative feedbacks. Not even one month left between these two screenshots in between. The sales were in February 2015, that is also less than 12 months to be not counted.
Well then happy sell of counterfeits.....................................................

He really missed any fake
from replica to origin :-)
This seller sells now with two IDs on ebay
ancientground located UK and ancient.land located Cyprus
First info see here http://ancientartifakes.net/smf/index.php/topic,1084.new.html#new
Loads of fakes in the listing. Interesting the negative feedback.
pretty modern ring sold as genuine
even more fakes in his current listing
bad widely sold fakes from Bulgaria
This seller is now in the fast lane with his fakes. Much more you will find in his listing
the Bulgaro fakes are booming
he increases the number of fakes almost weekly. Why sell real artifacts when the fakes sell better? Success proves him right
The business with the fakes is worthwhile. Hardly any buyer will notice that they can buy the same or similar rings as replicas for a fraction of the buy-it-now prices (between £ 300 and £ 600) on ebay US.
back to the roots :-) a selection of classic Bulgarian fakes
fakes to choose from - once silver and another time gold.
It
All rings listed are mostly fakes. Many bulk goods from Bulgaria, often sold as replicas. Direct purchase of many fakes by the Serbs. Resale with a big profit on it.
I am amused by the absolutely modern ring with the skulls. It was sold as a Greek "Hades" ring 300-500 BC. Which idiot falls for such a thing?
this very important article was copied into this topic, because the fake seller ancientground was listed twice by mistake.

This shyster has gone up on his prices! The fakes he used to sell came with a free COA reading something like "This finger ring is guaranteed to be an authentic artifact previously owned by the Grand High Exalted Hierophant of the Mystic Temple on the Lost Continent of Atlantis", or words to that effect.
I guess inflation has driven up costs a bit ...........................
"We can also provide certificates on any of our items but buyer must pay the cost of 250 pounds if want to have certificate"
I would love to see a CoA created for one of the fakes pictured. And above all, which expert is so criminal that he issues a certificate of authenticity for known counterfeits.
The middle ring of our first picture has been on the market for about 10 years and has been sold dozens of times as Templar, Crusader, Roman, Christian and so on. Even the honest replica sellers sold it.

most of the "genuine" items you might find in our replica section (page 49)

also sells with another ID roman.land, here is his main business focused on fake coins

Has been selling some genuine coins recently , but also still many many fake antiquities
Brad
Now large numbers of really badly faked "cuneiform" tablets.
Can anyone really believe these????

No laws being broken unfortunately. No stupidity tests mandated for buyers, either. The category clearly states "all other collectibles" or whatever jargon their Legal Dept. advised to circumvent charges of aiding & abetting criminality
Some negative feedback....before eBay removes it!
Do prospective victims of online malfeasance even seriously study & factor in such writeups before they vanish? Even if they sometimes do, temporary, isolated negative feedback likely gets lost in the sauce between the glowing remarks gratuitously conjured up by crook's circle of compadres. Could be wrong but the only reason Sadigh Gallery eventually got snagged was due to his brick & mortar outfit, not ebay thievery
