Could you help me identify my ring?
I bought it for 10 euro's from a Dutch seller who dug it up at the location of where the river Rine used to flow in Holland.
He found several bronze coins in the area aswell and estimates the time period between 200-900 AD. The ring is 19mm in diameter.

Could you tell me something about my ring?

Lars the 700 year span in the merchant's guestimate leaves an awful lot of wiggle room. Certainly these plain copper/bronze bands are plentiful from the Iron Age to Migration Period and onwards. Seems to have enough dings and oxidation (?) damage to at least make it appear ancient.
