My question..............

"Hello, from which century is the fibula from. You mention Roman style. It's an original or a replica in Roman style. thanks your kind answer XXX"

the seller answered as follows.....................

coinauction12
"Roman style is vintage vintage is 17-18 century"

Ups........Roman style means that the fibula is a replica copied either from an original or made by the manufacturer of the way as a fibula may have been in Roman times.

the seller defined in "?? style "in his own way. In "add whatever you want -  style" is vintage and vintage is 17th-18th C. AD.:-)

VINTAGE HUGE SILVERED ROMAN STYLE FIBULA BROOCH WITH MERCURY BUST

Lately coinauction12 offers some of his fakes as "British-found" :-)

chris

similar cross variations as posted before

chris

The dating of the fakes is really incredible. The first bracelets should be 3000-3500 years old. wow

The silver ring with the stick figure is a few centuries younger. After all, even some 2500 years old.

pls. enjoy for the ring with the stick figure http://ancientartifakes.net/smf/index.php/topic,1087.0.html

A seller in the intoxication of the millennia !

3000-3500 years old Luristan Dager fakes........................

only to top from a 7000 years old Estruscan Terracotta fake

chris

What a coincidence. Two identical fibulae, without pin, silver, offered at the same time on ebay UK. Certainly a hoard find of fakes :-)

Offered by coinauction12 as Medieval, from coin-ancient-world as a Roman.
Are only approx. 800-1000 years in between. It's nothing...fakes are timeless.

chris

Another coincidence. Same bracelet. Offered at the same time on ebay UK. Same hort find as the above fibulae.
Offered from coinauction12 as Bronze age Greek and from dic.caesar as Luristan 900 B.C.

Perhaps should the seller make better arrangement with each other :-)
