Hi, friends! I was very surprised that this seller sells Russian Orthodox crosses under origin - found in the UK. It seems that in the UK until the 17th century there were a lot of Russians and they are very often lost the stitch ;D. Most of these crucifixes is no doubt as to the authenticity (Russian crosses made by casting), crosses 16-17 centuries in circulation very much. If there fakes (modern casting), it is silver. And then, not often. In Russia Wedge silver cross of the 16th century (with the cross on Calvary wicker) costs about $ 100. The same kind previously no more than $ 250. More rare variants - Vernicle, Nikita "Beagan" in silver.

Zeus... with gymnastic dumbbells? Second, apparently, was too lazy to take a leak.

These and similar crosses are casted in bronze, sometimes silver and offered from many Bulgarian sellers honestly as replicas. Pls. enjoy this section

If you look at the picture from a different angle, Zeus holds the thunderbolt . By the way you can add pics by using the additional options possibility

Andreus

Thank you! But here, the thunderbolt like it is dumbbell (usually a thunderbolt sent forward). However another of the same but with a thunderbolt in a more familiar form. From  egallerry (Ebay)

chris

Hi,

it's the same. Coinauction12 is selling a replica as authentic.

PS. you might add the pics in another way. Pls. Open add. options. choose the pics from your pc and finish with post.

Note: Although made merely as a reproduction or tourist souvenir, an item becomes "fake" when deceptively offered as the real thing.

chris

This is the proof. Ebay allows its power sellers to remove the negative feedbacks. Not even one month left between these two screenshots in between. The sales were in February 2015, that is also less than 12 months to be not counted.

Well then happy sell of counterfeits.....................................................
