and even a seller, located USA, delivery from Europe (in this case France).

Really bad fakes, but relatively well trimmed on old metal surfaces. Since we discovered the "excavation source" of the Balkans, is returned back to the old strategy: old rings with popular engravings more bad than good engraved and sold as genuine. This trick works. Not even notice the buyer that heaps Legion rings are available in a short period.

Wonders none where all come from?  For years, were offered only sporadically legion rings. Now no week passes without plenty of legion rings on ebay.

Fake galore

Amazing. Specializes in "Legion rings". The fake manufacturers are trying hard to make older rings genuine. the engravings are neither authentic nor good. But ebay buyers apparently buy anything

the legion ring fakes with Victrix inscription are in great demand. Last month, a good dozen of them were offered. All were sold at a high price.

This seller has again stepped into the fake business. All rings made the same way on old. To offer a change, some items remain black

compare the first ring and read http://ancientartifakes.net/smf/index.php/topic,1100.30.html  too.

In 2009 and 2017 the original fake was used. This year the bezel was changed from oval to rectangular. Ring band and decorations on the shoulders identical to the original fake.

The victrix fake is the third this week

Regarding the heavy Viking fake ring...........Many of us in Northern Europe still believe in the power of the runes. The forger should not engrave anything without knowing what it means or having powerful effect on the owner of that fake.:-)

Seller is trying to outrun uniques77777. He is on a good way. A few hundred legion ring fakes accompanied by Vikings "atrocities" and he can share the 1st place. Maybe then he will also get the female decoy of uniques77777.

Rule 2 from this quote is for this seller only...............

"Rule 1: if it looks like it was made yesterday, then it probably was. Rule 2: If you have to suspend all logic and rationality in your analysis of the item to believe the item is authentic , then it is a fake. Rule 3: If it looks too good to be true, then it is in all likelihood a fake."
