Ebay could reply: "Take a look at the many negative reviews. If you buy anyway, it's at your own risk.

That's all we can do. The ignorance of the buyers is really not our fault."

Aside from picking their pockets what other harm done to online shopping ignoramuses? These oblivious legions traipse over to mailbox and take ownership of priceless antiquities personally owned by Socrates and Cicero. Happy as pigs frolicking in mud, they are. No real harm done.
