A blessing for all fake collectors. All legions of the Roman Empire left their silver rings for posterity in the former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. All first class preserved. Engravings without abrasion, deep and like new. Every day new finds are added.

Perhaps Zeus has his hand in the game and pours this flood from Olympus directly into the counterfeiting workshops.

Of course Thor is responsible for the viking fakes. Hundreds of hammer pendants flow from Thor's kingdom Thrudvangr. Every fake collector wants to have some of the power of Mjölnir ...... because

the hammer of the thunder god Thor was considered by the Teutons as a symbol of strength, energy and for old age. Right-wing extremists nowadays shifted the meaning of the symbol to "militant" and "ethnic connectedness".
The Vikings used the Thorshammer in the form of a pendant as a counterpart to the Christian cross.

Don't forget to enjoy the fakes from his branch augusta_fine_arts too    http://ancientartifakes.net/smf/index.php/board,490.0.html

new fake arrivals

The newest hit from Bulgaria. Legion pendant fakes. We can look forward to much more. The forger have just started and there are many Roman legions. Every legionary was adorned with jewelery, silver rings, pendants, and soon legion bracelets. Perhaps the jeweled legionnaires were to blame for the downfall of the Roman Empire? They rather polished their jewels than to fight.

How naive must the buyers be to buy this trash. Long live the fake market.

A bitter setback or ebay's interpretation of buyer protection.

Not even 4 weeks have passed and the biggest fake seller on ebay is allowed to sell internationally again. Several hundred fake reports have prompted ebay to block this fraudulent seller from international sales.

Now greed has again triumphed on ebay. 10% profit on every fake sold pushes morale aside.

Quote:
"The Interior Ministry has now tabled to the Bulgarian Parliament Penal Code amendments criminalizing the forgery of antiques and art items.
"The problem is that treasure hunting in Bulgaria is thriving but the uppermost archaeological layer, which is 30-40 cm deep, has already been fully ransacked. At the same time, there is a demand, and the antique dealers start compensating [the lack of supply] with fakes.
According to the police, there are between 20 and 50 skilled forgers working actively in Bulgaria in "different fields" of forgery such as coins, ceramics, gold (silver) jewelry. The top performers among those, however, are about a dozen."

The ebay bargain hunters should be pensive. A few hundred dollars for a legion ring or Viking artefacts sold as genuine are often achieved. The buyer receives a worthless replica and does not even notice it.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ALL TO KNOW!

that should make any buyer suspicious when looking at the leg. ring fakes of uniques77777

-only modern men's sizes
-all engravings without abrasion
-same state of preservation
-always in the same style:
hoops engraved with leg. no. and other legion-relevant engravings / inscriptions
-constant repetitions of the legions, of which the rings allegedly originate

chris

Two days = and the fake factory in Bulgaria has spit out another 44 legion ring fakes, including seven rings from legion X.

The Viking fake artifacts are lucrative additions.

chris

Compare the Viking warrior face rings from uniques77777. This crook sells now the third almost identical Viking silver ring. Only the hoop always a little modified.

This shameless cheater tries to convince the fake-collector of the authenticity of his counterfeits with the following lie.........

"This item is part of a personal collection consisting of 100% authentic artifacts that I inherited. The item was checking by expert on determining the composition of the metal and it is solid silver. Please review closely all detailed photos and if you are not sure you want purchase the item, please not bid and not make offers in my auctions !!! Also if you have any doubts about the authenticity of the item PLEASE DON'T BUY because I will not accept a return !!! (nice try...he had to accept returns) "

I hope that no one really believes that the masses of legion Rings, pendants and Viking artifacts could be inherited. If you feel like it, you can even count how many fakes have been sold in the last two years by this crook. We have documented every single fake.

All in the same style, all from the same hand, all from Bulgaria. All legions of the Roman Empire left their rings there. Even the Vikings left everything there, so that the interested fake collectors can impress with a piece of history.

Attached feedback now shows that some buyers have noticed the fraud and share their experience with other ebay members.
After all, of 100% fakes sold only 2 buyers who noticed this fraud and left negative feedback

chris

This cheater starts slowly to increase the fake offers. He also takes shipping fees again.
The shock of negative feedbacks is over. The buyers of his fakes ignore the warnings of other deceived buyers and continue to throw their money into the greedy mouth of one of the biggest scammers on ebay.

chris

This seller has recovered from the shock of negative feedbacks. After his "I-have-all-inherited" lie, he raises the fake offers again ..

amazing that no bidder notices that the Viking "joke" (pic 4) was sold a few weeks ago in similar version from luxeon55.

Attention - Attention - Attention - fake collectors beware. Bulk goods of Cameo-legion-ring-fakes from Bulgaria directly for you. Open your wallet wide, whip out the credit card. You will not find such awful fakes for a second time

After the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" .... we proudly present

the "Viking Fake Horror Picture Show" by uniques77777 under the same motto as the original "let's do the time warp again". The randomly engraved runes of the Viking Furthark (Futhark or Fuþark is the name given to the gem Germanic rune series and its variations) could not yet be deciphered. The meaning is unclear.

Quote from DÜWEL, Klaus (2001): Runenkunde. 3. Auflage. Verlag J.B. Metzler, Stuttgart, Weimar.:

,,Runes are characters of the Germanic language and culture area. They were mainly used in Scandinavia, but also in large parts of mainland Europe, in the British Isles, and on the islands in the North Atlantic from the Roman Iron Age to the Middle Ages (in a small part of Sweden even into the 19th century).
The runic script was based on a Mediterranean alphabet, most of the Latin, in the period around the birth of Christ until the 1st century AD. in the western part of the Baltic (perhaps with suggestions from the Rhine area) created by one or more 'intellectuals' as a means of communication to profane, but also sacred and magical use. "

all fakes blackened with sulfuric liver.

The biggest cheater on ebay can do what he wants. Ebay protects him with "crook-support" (according to ebay customer support :-)). The rest are made by the many uninformed, blind, gullible and ignorant fake collectors.

May 26, 2018......................46 fakes offered of which 18 newly listed
May 27, 2018......................56 fakes offered of which 10 newly listed

chris

57 (fifty-seven) fakes sold within 10 days.

With every fake, the profit of ebay increases. With each fake, the cheaters are more and more protected.

It's amazing that there are quite a few buyers on ebay who think Brutus' bronze bust is real. In the past, uniques77777 has sold similar fake of Caesar, Augustus and many other "upper tens" of the Roman Empire. All in bronze, all with a recognizable fake patina.
