Don't know a wooden nickel from a shekel but problem often encountered with ancient & medieval jewelry is wholesale misattribution and misdating. If something looks like something else, it must be the same or related. Problem is, half the time it ain't. Can scroll through pages of online offerings and find not a single genuine Roman ring dealer advertises as such. Trinkets with fair market value of maybe $50.00 are offered for ten times as much via the Roman, Viking, Knights Templar, extraterrestrial, etc. assignations. Why God created beer & cannabis probably.

I dont want to comment on the prices but all these bits and pieces look entirely genuine to me.

Some of Mr Culley's fakes are quite expensive.
None are actually anywhere near convincing.
Only people who know next to nothinmg about ancient artefacts would be deceived.

One of several shysters doing a hell of an online business ripping people off. Never a shortage of truly benighted buyers who think they're getting authentic stuff for pennies on the dollar (in many cases). Other Decorative Category on ebay a clearinghouse for all souvenir shop purchases morphed into genuine antiquities. No laws being broken unfortunately, and gullibility both universal and timeless.

Leon Culley in UK is one of the biggest sellers of fakes on eBay.
